- Location Rules (Crucial for Best Cooling)
- Outdoor Use Only: Never use this unit in a closed indoor room. It requires a constant supply of fresh, dry outdoor air.
- Level Ground: Place the unit on a flat, solid, level surface.
- Clear the Airflow: Keep the back of the machine at least 3 feet away from walls, tents, or obstructions so it can breathe.
- Aim the Breeze: Position the fan so it blows directly across the area where your guests will be gathering.
- Water Setup (Choose One Option)
- Option A (Continuous Flow): Connect a standard garden hose to the water inlet brass fitting. Turn the hose faucet on low. The internal float valve will automatically stop the water when full.
- Option B (Manual Fill): Open the reservoir fill door. Fill with clean water until the water level indicator shows full. Monitor this periodically during your event.
- Powering Up
- Standard Outlet: Plug the unit into a standard 115V grounded outlet.
- Extension Cords: If you must use an extension cord, use a heavy-duty (12-gauge or 14-gauge) cord. Lightweight indoor extension cords will trip your breakers or overheat.
- How to Operate
- Turn on the PUMP switch first.
- Wait 3 to 5 minutes for the cooling pads at the back to become completely saturated with water.
- Turn on the FAN switch and select your desired speed (Low, Medium, or High).
- Pro Tips & Troubleshooting
- The “Humidity” Factor: This machine cools by evaporating water. On very humid days, it will still feel like a powerful breeze, but the temperature drop won’t be as dramatic as it is on dry days.
- Running Dry: If you are manually filling the tank and it runs out of water, turn off the PUMP switch immediately to avoid damaging the motor. The fan can safely continue to run as a standard blower.
- Before Returning: Turn off the pump 15 minutes before the end of your event to let the fan dry out the cooling pads. Please drain the remaining water using the drain plug at the bottom of the tank.
